Frequently asked

Is Nutripix free?

The app is free to install with a 7-day free trial on the annual subscription. The trial gives you full access to AI meal photo analysis, the health score, saved meals, barcode scanning, and the insights dashboard.

How does meal photo analysis work?

You take a photo of your plate. We send the image to OpenAI's Vision API, which identifies the food and estimates portion sizes. We turn that into calories, macros (protein / carbs / fats), fiber, sugar, sodium, and an estimated water content. The result lands in your day log within a few seconds.

How accurate is it?

AI vision is excellent at identifying foods and decent at estimating portion sizes. For best accuracy, photograph your plate from slightly above with a clear background, and edit ingredient grams afterward if a portion looks off (tap any meal → edit weight).

What happens to my photos?

Photos are sent to OpenAI for nutritional analysis only — never used for advertising, never sold. We keep meal photos so you can revisit your history; delete a meal and its photo is removed from our servers within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple manages all subscriptions. Open the Settings app on your iPhone → your name at the top → Subscriptions → Nutripix → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Open Nutripix → Settings → Profile → Delete Account. We remove your personal data and meal history within 30 days; backups purge within an additional 60 days. You can also email privacy@nutripix.io.

Is my data exported?

Yes. Settings → Data Export → pick a format (JSON or CSV). You'll get a downloadable file with all your meals, body metrics, water intake, and account profile.

Do you have an Android app?

Not yet. Nutripix is iOS-only for now. If you want to know when Android lands, drop a line at hello@nutripix.io.
